Such and Such, This and That and What Not

Hello everyone. Today is going to be just a hodge podge of information, because...well, there have been a hodge podge of things going on. :-)

* This weekend was great. We went to a thing our church put on where all the small groups got together job-fair style and JD found a couple to get involved with. I have a Bible study group with a couple great girls every other Tuesday and JD picked one for Tuesdays as well. He also joined the Christmas Contata and I'm very excited for that. Then we decided to go to the Firm Foundations class at church (for new members) and then we're going to start going to church at 10 instead of noon. Productive weekend.

* I have to say I'm amazed....I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and they are still selling BANANA CLIPS!!! Seriously? I just had a little chuckle to myself. But I had to be careful, beause there was a woman lurking right around that little hanger, so she herself might have been scoping them out.

* We had a family birthday this weekend. It's This and That (1 year old) and so forth. If you know, you know... Leeza, Kelly and Dad prolly know what I'm talking about.

* Now on to the baby. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and it wasn't what I expected! Let me just cut right to the chase. The midwife measured my belly and measured my belly...and measured it again...and then again. I was like "what are you doing?" She told me that she was baffled because she was measuring me at 29 weeks, not 24-25. So, after a bunch of questions, I basically asked her if my due date needed to be changed and she said "not right now, let's wait until the next appointment." Which, by the way, is three more weeks away. So, that basically means to me that I could give birth anywhere between the last week of November to January 3rd. Pretty much, there is noway to plan for this. HA HA Oh well, just roll with the punches, right? I guess I need to put in a new guess on the baby pool!!

* One last thing. While going through Wal-Mart, after my laughing fit with the banana clips, I was really pleased at the stuff in the next aisle. As I was strolling through, there is an entire aisle full of fall decorations that are really nice. There are tablecloths, place mats, plates, servers, glasses, centerpieces, etc. Anyway - if you're looking for cute fall stuff for the house, I'd take a little trip to Wally World!

I love how you told me you had "something to do on Tuesday night" instead of going to dinner with Rob. Then you announce on your blog what it is. You couldn't even tell your BFF that you have joined a church group? Thanks. I feel so involved. I might not hold your leg...

I am super excited to hear you signed up for the 12 nursery!! I will hopefully be doing that one with you too. There has been some talk of moving me to the choir to play the flute (Branden has been talking to Wayne Tate - worship leader) but we shall see. :) Either way, it would be nice to go to the same service as you and JD!

Ooh - that would work out fantastically!! Although, I'm going to miss the orientation, so I don't know if they'll still allow me to do it. that would be awesome if you could do the flute - but wow - that is a huge commitment, isn't it? although, I know you would do GREAT!!!

Happy B-day this and that. It seems like yesterday when we sang you a song, ate cake, pretended to eat shrimp, watched little hand karaoke, and woke up as cartoon characters...where does the time go? miss you

I am the banana clip poster. I thought you'd blame it on Storm or your dad...
Heh he.

I even thought it was her dad! Hurry up and update your blog, you slacker... Don't act like you've been busy or out of town. $10 says you're watching Dr. Phil right now, not that, um, I know that it's, um, on right now.

I was about to blame it on either of them, you're right. but, I thought I'd wait it out! :-)

As for Dr. Phil...Storm, SOME of us work, you know!!

According to my friend Jill in California this is a hot must have item in LA. Aparently they have made a come back. I think I will be passing on that fashion faux pas!
