Learning from a child...

Just thought I'd jot down a couple of things I learned today from Lorelai...

1) Just because a baby does the same thing two days in a row does NOT make it a habit.
2) Seeing baby poop really can make me happy (allow me to explain - she's only been going every three days and apparently, she should be going more)
3) Bath time CAN be fun - if mom is relaxed.
4) Babies literally grow overnight - an outfit that fit her two days ago, no longer fits.

Wow, what wonderful experiences. My only experience with poop is having to look through Bens when he ate a skewer one time. Just as the vet said, two days later it appeared and I knew that he would be a-ok.. it was a great day!!!
She has gotten bigger since we saw her last.. I can't wait to see her again.

What a darling picture. Sometime ask Krista about McKenna and her experience with poop in Kansas. I laugh just thinking about it. It was really horrible.!!!!! Love ya, Granny

Corollary to #1: If it's something you don't want, it only takes a single day of baby doing it to make it a habit! :-)

She looks so much more like a baby now and not the smooshed newborn! I can't believe how much she's grown. Can't wait to get back to F'ville so I can love on her.

Rachel-she is so pretty!
She certainly doesn't look like a newborn anymore. What a cutie pie!

I hope Lorelai knows she hit the genetic lottery with you two as parents. Its no coincidence that she is ridiculously good looking.
