Momma's Got a Brand New Bag

Mommy Cards. Have y'all ever heard of them? If not, you're about to learn something very exciting.

Have you ever been out and about, meet someone cool with a child about your child's age and you start saying "we should get together sometime?"

Then, you go rooting through the never ending abyss tha
t is your diaper bag searching for a pen. You come up with a crayon and an old receipt, if you're lucky. There you are, with your baby on your hip, trying to scratch down your name and number legibly enough to ensure a follow-up playdate.

No? You've never done this? Well, I have.

So, these have solved the problem.

Incredibly dorky? Yes.
Handy? Absolutely!

I know you secretly want one! Even you daddies out there. Don't lie.

They work! When I give one out, I can see that they visit my blog. So, they may never call and our children may never get to play, but they stalk me. And that's good. Right?

And yes, I do have a sitemeter on my blog. I know when you are reading and not commenting. You are my SSRs and I love you. I know you are there, so feel free to stick your head out and comment every now and then. The invitation is always open. You won't get hurt. I promise.

Congratulations, Deep Fried Pickles!!! Because of my severe bossiness and need for everyone to be on the blogging bandwagon, you are the newest member of the clan. Welcome, and happy posting! Convert #19 and counting.

Hey Rachel - I have never done a blog, but with 2 girls and a need to "chat" a lot, I may just have to start! Love your cards too - I use my business cards (which is good for business), but those are too cute! I always check out blogs if people send them to me in their e-mails but I didn't know you could track them - I'm busted! But I promise I won't stalk you... just hope to meet you guys soon and help Lorelai get signing! :)

This is one of those times (the whole card thing) where I'm like, 'man, what took so long for someone to figure that out...'. Good idea, dude...

That's hilarious. I love the colors. Once again your creative skills has come out. We'll see how many people copy this idea.
