Hallelujah!! She can walk!!!

Lorelai has been so busy this week. Not only did she add five words to her vocab (pee-uuu, please, thank you, choo choo and milk) she is walking!!! I know y'all think I shouldn't be excited by that, but my back is. The girl is 35 pounds. Imagine carrying that around. Everywhere. All. The. Time. I realize she'll be into more and things will "never be the same," but I'm okay with that. I'm ready for it.

We weren't able to get her first five steps on camera. However, these are the next ones. Please ignore my awful squeal. I was excited!

Now you might have to hit the gym for the replacement weight training. Way to go, Lorelai!

She is sooooo cute! I could eat her up! I LOVE watching first baby steps and listen to her talk, especially when she shows off her nice chicklet teeth! Yeah for Lorelai!

Rachel--

The girl is practically running! What a huge milestone! "Life will never be the same" as you say, but isn't that the thrill of having kids?! Ella can't wait for Lorelai to chase her!

Awesome!! We are very excited for you three. Nice baby gates by the way. I am going to have to invest in those sometime soon I think.

I love how thank you is "tatoo". I haven't heard her say pee-uuu, I bet that's cute. I am so dying to know what was going on in her mind when she was talking to herself...Can't wait for her to walk to me!

congrats on the walking baby. i don't think my babies walking ever bothered me. and the squeal? your baby not only is walking, but walking to you. who wouldn't be excited? (does that sound like i'm a mom of 5 kids that could care less if i'm in the room?)

Awe. *sniffle* It's been so long since I watched a baby waddle like that. She's precious.

Thats awesome! I was so pumped when Lexie walked. Its huge! (I don't know any mom who really wasn't excited at the time of the event.)

That talking is awesome. I love how they chatter away to themselves... and you can tell what they have to say is important and interesting. Its the best when they make themselves crack up too!

Keep up the good work, Mommy!

She looks like a natural! Your back can recover now. Uma and Wil may be right--you may have to hit the gym for replacement workouts!

Those vids were awesome! She is precious... seems to have a bit of a personality - like her mother =). Congrats - these milestones are some of the best parts of being a mommy.

As for the blogspot name:
Like the current name,
use "HuseTown",
or "Going Back to HuseTown"
(guess you have to like TX to use those two :) ).

Yay! So very very exciting! I can not imagine carrying around a toddler that big, both my 2.5 and 4 year old are under 35 pounds (barely) and I can barely heft them around at all!
Love the video, so cute!

Wonderful! And I love the excited squeals!

35 pounds??? That's heavy! My 3 year old weighs 37 pounds and I thought that was heavy!

Yeah, Damon and I graduated together. We are currently in Waxhaw (Charlotte) but will soon be moving somewhere, possibly Chicago.

Our daugther just turned 19 months and she is still just 21 pounds. Your daughter is very cute. Tell the hubby I say hello.
