Because, I have some yummy liquid fabric softener just waiting to soften my fabrics. And, well, the bottle tells me to put it in during the last rinse cycle.
a) my washing machine doesn't have the spot to pour it where it will deposit it on its own.
b) who sits by their washing machine to wait for the last rinse cycle?
c) how do you KNOW it's the last rinse cycle?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to use this properly?
THANKS!

Brilliant, my SSR!! I'm on my way to target now...I will let y'all know how it works! I KNEW there was a solution! Thanks! :-)
I was about to tell you to get a downy ball, or go take a homemaking course (kidding) but SSR beat me to it!
Now, I am more attuned to my washing machine than others b/c it throws up during the spin cycle TWICE each wash. I can hear it from anywhere in the house and to others it must appear that I just bolt from the room for no reason. Really, it's to keep from having to mop the entire laundry room. Older homes are so much fun.
Vinegar (I know..it sounds weird) makes an excellent fabric softener and no, your clothes don't come out smelling vinegary. It's way cheaper, better for the environment, and won't leave the sticky goopy mess in your washer. Just a tip! :-)
I had the downey ball and sometimes it opened, sometimes it didn't. I ended up just putting the fabric softener in with my detergent and it works for me!
