Poor Lorelai. She is all better from her virus.
However today, she took a header on the cement walkway at church. You'd think her hands would have been a bit quicker, but she landed on her shoulder and face. After cleaning off the gravel and giving some healing kisses, here's what she looks like.
It's not bad at all...the scrapes are extremely minor. It might just end up in a nice shiner, though. Look under her eye!
After she bit it, she whacked her head on the door as JD was taking her back in the church to clean her up. That goose-egg on her head is causing quite the headache, I'm sure.
And if that wasn't enough, she was playing around in the living room and leaned over, hitting the corner of a table with her lip-covered teeth. Busted herself up pretty good.
We should have named her Grace.

This poor child just can't catch a break! Let's hope that it's finally all out of her system and it's going to be a relatively injury-free toddlerhood. Give her some more kisses for us!
When it rains, it pours! It was always interesting that when my kids had a day like Loralai's - they inevitably had a Dr. appointment scheduled.
Poor baby! I hope her bumps and bruises heal quickly!
poor baby!
my haley had a lot of days like that! i think it has to do with big girls that are just a little off balance. haley had a black eye when she was about that age...she was running to hug my nephew and knocked him backwards, he missed the coffee table, her face didn't. that lasted for about 6 months. and she had the scar where it split open for about a year.
Poor thing but I am glad to hear that she is feeling better from the illness.
Ouch! The girls saw this and said "Sorry, Lorelai!" :/.
What Rachel was too sweet to mention is that the header was courtesy of my 3 and 4 year old, who thought it would be a good idea to open the door and let Lorelai out before any of us parents could get to her...
Poor little girl! I guess the fall was only the beginning of her long day!
ooooh, poor baby! You need a good story to go with the scrapes. She was wrestling a bear or something.
Poor baby! Church should not be that painful!
Hope she's feeling better.
sweet little girly!!! but she still looks so cute in the picture!
I totally relate. My 3-year old is constantly hurting herself. My mom says we need to pray for extra guardian angels over her. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised. My aunt's nickname for me when I was little was "Grace". :)
Awesome - her first shinner!!!
I can't even comment from crying. Why do you torture me like this? I will pray for a quick healing.
OW! all I can say. I know that hurt.
ouch! I am afraid those days are right around the corner for us. All you can do is be the comforter, huh? Glad to hear that the virus is gone though.
Mama said knock you out!

Oh this just makes me so sad...and tear up. Isn't it just the worst when our kids get hurt?? Makes me appreciate how sad my parents would get when I got bumps and bruises.

It's a new day, and I hear Lala is doing just fine...Thank you JESUS!
Poor baby girl! The first shiner is always the worst!
How's it looking now?
May I recommend a fall wardrobe of bubble wrap?
