Luuuuke.....I am your faaaaaather....

I dug up this video of Lorelai and Natalie playing on one of their last play dates together. [Insert sad face here]

Watch as they so sweetly take turns. Then, Lorelai is done taking turns and pushes Natalie out of the way. This is pretty much how their relationship works.

Natalie moved back to North Carolina where we THOUGHT we were going to be moving at the end of the year. Turns out, in true military fashion, plans have been changed for us. We should be receiving orders in the next week for our move to Virginia in December. This is bitter sweet. We wanted to go back to North Carolina because we have many good friends there and miss them dearly. Most of them have children that I desperately want to see as well. That's the bitter part.

The sweet part is the fact that our house is currently on lease for two years, so it wasn't available anyway. Finding a house in North Carolina wasn't turning out as fruitful as I had planned. So, going to Virginia for a year will most likely bring us back to NC when our house is ready for us to move back in.

We do have a great set of friends who are going with us to Virginia, so that should make the transition relatively painless. Hopefully we can find houses near one another and Laura can bring me food when my baby is sick. Well.....and I can help her out once in a while, too!!! That's what I was gonna say!

I can't complain, really, though. I've been married to JD for five years and this will only be our third move. We've spent four of those five years together. This is MUCH more than most military wives.

So, on to Phase Two of P.A. School. I'll talk more about what that entails later.

In the mean time, here is another cute video. I caught Lorelai and Natalie feeding Gracie (Natalie's dog) and when they got busted....well, check it out....when did they become con artists!? They were like "what!? we weren't doing anything!?"

Oh yay. It is not just me then! ha. Andrew and I moved to Missouri once we got married and left all our friends. Once he graduates in 4 years we will move again. This has been really hard for me because I miss my friends. We are still church shopping and have not made any friends here yet and it has been a month and a half. It is really hard to stay positive. I am happy to know I am not the only one moving around. Thanks for the encouragement!

"what's wrong with the military! can't they send you back to missouri? even if it's only for a year?"

Uh, I was just reading this book here. SHE was the one feeding the puppy. I told her NOT too.... :)

Blessings to you as you gather up to move. I am so grateful for those in the military (those in and those at home) for all that they do. :)

Well - hmmm....at least Virginia is on the East Coast?

Hopefully we can stay in touch once in awhile even when you leave The Lone Star State!

Cute videos. Can't see the first picture though. I will try again later!

The videos are hilarious! I know PSCsing can be stressful, but I'm thinking this is how the Army "helps" us keep life exciting. This upcoming one will be our second in two years. Good thing they send movers, huh? Have fun in Virginia!

hahaha i LOVE how they had it prearranged "okay, when we get busted, you leave the scene while i pick up a book and act like i was just reading. got it?" doesn't it blow your mind how quickly they figure out these things???

and...i would say something consolatory about you not getting assigned to fort bragg and winding up at langley with that crazy friend of yours, but....i'm kinda the crazy friend and i'm UBER EXCITED you're going to be stuck with me for the next year :). hang on girl-- it's gonna be a fun ride!!!!

The video of the girls with Gracie is so stinking cute I had to come back and watch it again. I'm putting our boys on a diet in anticipation of the start of solid foods...
