Satin Sheets

Okay, so I thought I'd be all clever and buy satin sheets for when JD gets home. Don't worry - this isn't going there! Anyway....I got done cleaning the bedroom tonight, vacuumed, it's all purty. I took a shower....and decided I would give the satin sheets a trial run since I've never had any. Well, how very interesting this experience has been!

First of all, I hae never spent so much time changing sheets as I did tonight! It took me almost 40 minutes to get the bed set up. It's so pretty, I don't want to even sleep in it now. So, the fitted sheet is extra tight, so it doesn't slip off. My forearms are tired trying to get it on. Then, I get the top sheet all settled and the fan just blows it STRAIGHT off the bed! I'm like "what!?" So, I did that about three times before I decided to turn off the fan. (it's the blonde coming out in me). I'm so afraid that this purchase wasn't exactly the smartest one I've made.

I'm worried about snagging the sheets now. This sounds gross, but what if my feet are dry...? and my nails - what if I have a hang nail - it will snag the sheets!

Why did I ever think that this was going to be a good thing? Oh well. It's kind of funny, actually.

...random thought by Rachel...does anyone have a copy of the letter I wrote last year resigning as the Fat Club President? I apparently rehired myself and would like to see how funny I was. :-) ha ha!
