Today JD and I had our tour of the birthing unit at the hospital. On this tour, we had a ... hmm... rough-around-the-edges tour guide and she said something that surprised me, but I'll always remember.
"Being in labor is like smoking a joint. You will get the munchies."

Maybe that is why those crazy nurses were asking if I wanted a sandwich or anything from the kitchen after I had Marissa. After being woke up in the middle of the night to have her I just wanted to get back to sleep!!
I don't remember thinking about food.....but Ern did, he ate 2 of my hospital meals while I was in labor.
Such a life for the daddy. haha
