Did You Vote?

I did. I voted for Emmett Smith. I think he did a great job tonight. It's neat how each of the final contestants got a total of 59 out of 60. That means that it really is up to the audience as to who makes it to the finals.

What? Did you think I was talking about politics!? You don't know me well, do you?

side note: yes, I know that because I didn't vote in the real elections, I am not at liberty to complain about anything with our government. Rest assured, that will not happen!! That's how NOT into politics I am!

I didnt vote either.. oops. I guess it's cuz I am still registered in Iowa and I am too lazy to send an absentee ballot. I can't switch to NC yet, I am still an Iowan girl at heart (and probably always will be).

Some people at my work stayed up until 3am watching the elections. That, my friend, is pure craziness. Sleep is SO much more important.

Elections? What elections? Who is the president now?

Well good. i am glad to see that at least you care about the important things in life. Like dancing.
I did not vote in your elections, but i voted in the REAL elections. You have seen me dance though, so i am sure you understand why i think that the one is so much more important than the other!

Jodie - I did hear that - it was close, wasn't it?

Rebecca - thanks for joining in with me! :-)

Storm - go to sleep.

Kami - miss you too, girl. Come to NC!

Borg - I knew you would try to make me feel badly!!! Love you!

I just have to say that this is the PROBLEM with our generation. None of us care about politics which in turn means that we'll probably end up voting a lizard into office one day.

I voted (absentee in NC, but I voted.)

But thats the beauty about our country.... we can choose to or choose NOTE to vote .. it's the choice that makes our country so great, not what choice you make....

Now that Britney and K-Fed are getting divorced, is his new name Fed-X?

I don't think any country forces their people to vote. The real beauty of our nation is the fact that we are free to vote, and that every citizen has a voice. All the more reason to vote, in my opinion. Gee, Rachel...i think you may have hit on a hot topic!
See, this is what DANCING can lead to!

Storm -

Because Britney and Fed-X split up, does that still make her white trash?

I'm glad there are places like blogs to talk about such important things.

No they probably don't but my point is everyone has the right to choose their own level of involvement and there will always be those who disagree....

and by the way, next time I vote, I think I will write in Britney Spears.

I once had a teacher tell me that by not voting you are actually voting for whoever wins. If you disagree with those running it's almost better to vote independent or just write whoever (Britany Spears, or even Pedro) in. This will in turn decrease the percentage of the winning party. Just thought I'd share. :)

Apparently Fed-X (good one Storm) is now "representing the West Coast". I am so proud.

Rachel, i was NO WAY trying to make you feel badly! You know how impressed i am by your SKILLS! Remember how royally T O'd Deb got when i said i was more impressed by the fact that you were an NFL cheerleader than i would be if you had your masters? That was SO funny!
Good times, good times.

I'm quite enjoying the friendly bantering that is going on concerning voting, but I must say that I have to agree with Rebecca on this one.

Let's say there are two popsicles in the freezer, one red and one green. And let's say JD comes in and picks the red one. That doesn't mean I picked the green one, I still haven't picked one. I went to the store and bought a lemon-lime gatorade cause that's how I roll. And I'm not going to pick the cherry fruit rollup in the cabinet just so the red popsicle wins by a less margin, cause I'm too busy sitting on the couch, watching television with JD and Rachel, and enjoying that tasty lemon-lime gatorade.

Cause that's how I roll.

Jess, those were the best of times!

Storm, lay off the drugs. It was Italian Ice.

I didn't vote either. I am holding off until they get a "none of the above" button!

Cause that's how I roll!
