Am I old or is everyone else just really young?

I was on myspace today, looking for mom groups. I found a few and everyone on there seems to be like 22-25. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I have a few young friends here. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it - I'm probably one of the oldest. But in St. Louis, I was always the youngest. Anyhoo...the moms on those groups just seemed so young...well, they LOOKED really young too. I'm just old...and now I'm a mom. Gosh - dig me out of this hole! ha ha! No, really...I'm going to have to get my hair back to crazy colors and maybe get my nose pierced. (how you like that, Alicia!?) :-)

wow - I just realized that I'll be 29 in 9 days! Yikes!

Here's a picture I just snapped of JD and Lorelai while I'm across the room on the computer. They've both had a very rough day. JD jumped and had a rough landing and Lorelai - well, it's tough being a baby! By the way - I have a new nickname for her....it is Stinker Bell. You can imagine why!

I agree with you about the age thing. When I had Sara I was the youngest of everyone, then with Jess, I was right there with everyone, then with I Adam I was so shocked to be the oldest. Don't know why that still shocks me but it does, it should be apparent when you have a child every decade that things would change. I guess we see ourselves the way we want to. And the way I see myself is still the young mom but definitly without a nose ring or any other body piercing!

Hope Damon is feeling better. It was probably soo cold out there to jump. Will this be one of his last jumps since he is going to SA?
Sorry I can't see the pic either.
Love ya, Jo

Ahh they are both adorable.. It's cute that they both have no hair.. She is such a doll with her mouth open. If it makes you feel any better, you are younger than me.. I'll be 30 in May. So you can imagine how I'll feel in two years when I have a baby. I am listening to that radio station now, it is great. I like the website too.

I am also soon to be 30 with no kids on the horizon so I feel your (and Renee's) pain. I only have 2 girlfriends besides myself that aren't married yet (oh wait, does Storm count as 3?) but I'm choosing to look at it in terms of hand-me-downs for my future baby.

Hey you! I'm already 30 and don't have any kids yet! It's just a number. I always wanted to be a young, cool, hip mom, and I think I can still get away with that. I don't think I look 30 and Lord knows I don't act 30 HA! Do you walk around with your camera in your hand all the time? :o) Miss you! Cna't wait to see you in a few months! XOXO

Yikes - now I feel positively ANCIENT -- I'm 33 and will be 34 a few weeks after Jonah's due date. I would love to be 29 - HA! Wish I could see the picture. Do you still live at your Rockridge Lane address in Fayetteville?

Well I just need to throw my 2 cents in about the age thing....I am 38 and single but still contemplating having another baby if the good Lord decides to send me a husband soon, and I mean soon! I will be right up there with you Aunt Tina with the kids a decade apart!! Age is just a number anyway :0)
