Yippee! Lorelai gets to make her very first trip to St. Louis! I have been very nervous to fly with her. It will just be the two of us. I'm nervous about the car seat, the stroller, bringing everything I'm supposed to bring...and making sure she doesn't scream her head off the entire flight. Thanks to Jason Berkel, I'm a little less stressed about the logistics. He's flown with his baby several times - to Hawaii, at that. And thanks to Kelly Douglas, I'm a little less nervous about Lorelai screaming the whole time...I'm never going to see those people again, anyway.
We'll be in St. Louis for a month, so I'll do my best to keep up on the blog and emails, but I can't promise anything. My Dad still has dial-up. :-) HOWEVER, I'm not complaining, because said Dad will be allowing me to stay at his house while we're in St. Louis. Thanks, Grandpa!
Well, I hope I have everything together. I've made a list and I'm going to do my best to get it all in order before we leave on Thursday. I'll keep pictures posted of the goings on. I do want to see a lot of people, but don't know how much going here and there I should be doing. Lorelai is still pretty young and if the weather isn't that great, I am risking getting her sick. SO - my Dad is okay with people coming to the house to see us. Any takers?
All right - gotta run. It's almost bath time for Lorelai.
Ooooh...one more thing (could this entry be any more disjointed!?)...Lorelai is now 8 weeks old!!! I can't believe it! Here are a couple of snapshots of her little fatty self! I love it!

She is just too cute - and getting so big! Dont worry about the flight. Its just a few hours of discomfort and you will be home. I know how you feel though, I am having the same feelings now too! I keep on thinking so many have done it before me and they all survived (so I heard). See you tomorrow, I was given some great tips on flying with baby I will share with you then....
