No Haggle, really???

Have any of you ever purchased a car from Carmax? Is it really no haggle? I mean, I'm of the mindset that you can bargain for just about anything. But I don't want to go in there trying to bargain, looking like a fool when they truly don't bargain. We are thinking about going there for a vehicle this weekend, but I want to know in advance. Thanks!

Dave and I sold one there with no problems. My friends husband works there part time. Although he is going to be gone this weekend. If you want he could maybe look around for what you are interested in. Let me know

I bought my very first car through Car Max and all I remember is my step dad and the sales guy going back and forth...it wasn't even worth it, I was lucky if the car got me where I needed to go, and I swear it had once been submurged in water and the car was constantly falling apart. I once had to open my door with a shoestring rig or crawl out the passenger side and my headliner was held up with thumb tacks for a while then I would sit on them! I also had duct tape holding a window up for a while...

Although we haven't actually purchased a car there, we came really close and were very pleased with the service. (They just didn't have the right color of Tahoe that I wanted!)I believe that they are truly a no haggle...but you could always try? PS: they're warrenty stuff seemed really great and was the best we could find out there.

We bought our truck there. It was not haggle, at all. We were super pleased with the service and our truck has been so great. We will definitely go back there again someday!
