On a not-such-a-good-writers strike.

We all know I don't have major writing skills. All six of my readers are just super-nice...checking up on me every now and then to see what I'm thinking.

Apparently, I'm not doing any thinking right now. I'm at a loss for blogging material this week.

I'm sitting here updating my resume, listening to Sesame Street while my daughter throws her toy house across the room. She's going for distance now, people. Last week, she nearly knocked out a friend of hers. I think it might be time to take away the house (weapon).

If you're stuck on the fact that I said I am updating my resume, let me fill you in. A while back, do you remember me telling you that Lorelai was starting swim lessons? If not, feel free to go there....we'll wait for you.

I was so impressed with Infant Swimming Resource that I decided I wanted to join the team. I've been praying for guidance and wisdom on the subject and am now in the application process. I'm still not sure how it will all pan out, but isn't that the cool part? I'm a planner. But this time I have to let God be who He is....the ultimate planner! I'm quite sure that's not in the Bible, but it applies, right? "Let go, let God."

So, that's where I am.

Hopefully after I get done with my preliminary work for ISR, I will be back in full force. Maybe I'll even be comical?

I am a dreamer.

(speaking of "I'm a dreamer...." American Idol updates are a'comin!!! Keep an eye out, I'm going to be predicting the top 8. Very Montel Williams/Sylvia Browne of me.)

I have something to tell you about my training stuff with ISR.....don't worry it is totally GOD driven!! And I am proud of you for giving it to HIM and letting HIM be in control....I can honestly tell you that it is the BEST feeling in the world!! I am praying for you!!

I think that is amazing ... what a great idea..... you so will do it. I heard a good one the other day - 'if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans'. Very fitting to our life style at the moment! Oh hey did you get my message the othernight about visiting you????

That is awesome! Good luck on that front. If all goes well, you could teach Chase to swim :).

Congrats, I don't even know you IRL and I think you would be great!

Totally off topic, but I thought you'd want to know since I know you like bargains. McDonalds is giving away a free McSkillet with purchase of a medium or large drink tomorrow, 2/29. I've never had one but I will be trying one tomorrow!

It's always good to let God take control...hard to relinquish your own control but worth it when you do.

Can't wait to hear all about the ISR in future posts!

So does this mean you're considering being an infant swim instructor? I know, we're back to whole "New Orleans isn't a state" thing. By the way, what are YOUR thoughts on Sylvia Brown? I've seen her a few times but I'm thinking her coin is "psychic", am I right? Everyone's making such a huge deal of her, but I don't believe in psychics, it's like she's trying to play God.

Very exciting!! Keep us posted!! BTW, is there an age limit on children taking the lessons? Micayla still has tubes (thankfully) but hopefully #2 won't have an ear problems and you can teach him/her!!!

At least I'm not the only one on a writer's strike these days! I was wondering where you'd "runnoft" to! Anyway, will be praying for you and the ISR red tape. My mom showed me an ISR video not too long ago, and it sounds pretty amazing... we will definitely have to look into it!
