Is it possible God works for American Airlines?

My brother-in-law is getting married in April and JD and I have been delaying getting our plane tickets due to JD's school schedule. Tonight, we decided to bite the bullet and make like Nike.

Just do it.

We got our flights for WAY cheap and it's a non-stopper! Seriously? I didn't want to click "confirm" because I was convinced it was a trick.

I'm pretty sure God allowed us (and only us) to have that flight for that price. If not, I'm sure he's spreading the wealth, because he's just cool like that.

Either way, an affordable non-stop flight is an answered prayer. Now the second prayer is that I will lose 15 pounds by then to actually wear a dress for the first time in two years.

Now....where is my fudge bar?

Would you see if He could maybe work his magic on tickets for 2 adults and 1 infant from Frankfurt to Bangkok around September? I still wince every time I get a price quote.

Well, Dad is a pilot for American and I'm pretty sure over the last 30 years he's had Him as a co-pilot as least once or twice. :)

YAY for the cheap airline tickets!! That never happens, especially if you don't book a year in advance! As I've learned from reading your blog, you are the queen of saving money, so CONGRATS!!

I'm so sad I won't be able to meet you at their wedding. Andrew's cousin is getting married that same day so we are going to their wedding. Storm and Katie said they understand because it is a family wedding and not just someone we like better than them. Have fun up here in good old Peoria.

Glad you got a great deal on your tickets! Here's a sad fact about me: I fly basically free anywhere I want to go because my Dad works for Delta...but I hate to fly so I never take advantage of the great benefit!

AND, in response to your response to my blog (lol, did that make sense?) - you'll never think about the toilet paper hanging next to the wall the same way again!

now, where are your AI posts? its down to the final 12 you can start anytime now (hint, hint)

in response to lexie's quilt, no i WISH i could sew like that. ok i wish i could sew but have yet made time to learn. it is pottery barn girls surf print from summer 2005. but we got it on ebay with a throw pillow and wall plaque for less than half the usual price! i made the bedskirt and her curtains (which i dont think you could see in the picture)

Well since you got the humungously cheap flight answer in a timely manner, I'm sure the 15 pounds will drop off too, 'cause I'm sure chocolate is a zero calorie food. Right?
