Some people have to deal with ants in their house. For others, it's roaches.
For us here in San Antonio, it's these little guys.
We have two who have taken up residence in the house. They're too fast, I can't catch them. Oh well, at least they can get out of the house as easily as they got in. Hopefully they're taking care of other insects along the way.

Dude, its a lizard. We have them everywhere. Don't try to catch it by its tail... I usually corral them out the door. The only problem is the door is opened so long that I probably let about 5 of his buddies in.
I am always amazed by people who are in awe and fascinated of them (not that you are) because I've always known life with lizards.
OMG! What a coincidence! We have more Geckos at my place in North Texas than lizards. But just yesterday - I was backing out of the garage (same day the ducks came to visit) and one of my twins said "Mom - there is a gecko on the windshield!" Sure enough - and he was very tiny - about like your picture - so tiny I was afraid I would hurt him trying to get him off the windshield. Long story short - he jumped on my shirt! No Lie! So this tiny gecko is running all over me. We did manage to get him off of me without killing him. LOL.
Ha! No joke, I had one yesterday come in and I found another one today! It's just too stinkin' hot, even for the lizards, so they are coming in!
Great photo!
I don't do well with creepy crawlies of any kind. My college roommate did have a leopard gecko named Wawee. I had to feed him when she was away and
"play" with him sometimes. He was the only exception. ONLY.
Well, mystery solved! I've been wondering who's been visiting my blog from San Antonio.
We lived there for 9 years. The most we've ever lived in any one place so that is what we consider to be home.
Those little guys are great because they eat worse little guys.
Do you just LOVE Taco Taco? We used to live right by them and had breakfast there on Sunday mornings.
Aw, good old San Antonio. I miss it.
Aren't they fast?? The girls love looking for them in the cracks between our patio and the house. We have one Mr. Toad and one Mr. Lizard who are visited regularly by them (although I think it's more like 180 Mr. Toads-- they must breed like rabbits!!!!).
EEEWWWW! SO i CAN NEVER live in San Antonio apparently! I hate reptiles no matter how small! I'm glad that it doesn't seem to bother you!
How cute! Of course I can say that because there aren't two of them scurrying around my house!
Remember the one you smooshed in the doorway and it was stinking for a while?
I used to live in SA....totally know what that is like! You know, I am deathly skeeeeered of bugs so I loved these little guys! lol The best is when you have names for them and you see them on a regular basis inside throughout the day.

Yeah, we used to get those in Copperas Cove (Hood) all the time... it's funny up until the point you find them in your bed.
Better than a campfire in your bed like NC, huh? Know what I'm saying...
I think they're so cute! We have a ton of them here too.
That is just way too cool! We only have spiders and crickets. My kids would love to have them in and around our house.

In theory, those little guys are cute, but are they harmful? Do they carry diseases or poop anywhere? I'm guessing since you can't catch them, that's not YOUR finger holding it?
