We have a Christmas tradition! YAY!
Here is JD teaching Lorelai about the birth of our Savior. She was really into it. She kept saying "baby Jeeshus, baby Jeeshus!"
This was one of those moments where you giggle, but kind of get choked up and teary too. What an awesome responsibility we have as parents to teach our children about our Heavenly Father!

What am I thinking!?
December 23, 2008
a few more pictures of the munchkin never hurt anyone.
We've been trying to let Lorelai open some Christmas gifts every few days when we need a little break, or SHE needs a little break. Most of her toys are still in boxes, so she only has a few out with which to play.
She loves opening "pwesents..." can you tell?
Can't make a mess. OCD anyone?
I think I'm rubbing off on her. Whoops.
Life is good.

Hoping to bribe you to continue reading my blog.
I've been absent. Oh so absent. Horribly un-here.
I'm up to my eyeballs in boxes and I'm not sure I'm seeing an end in sight yet. (it's hard with the boxes...in front of my eyeballs and all)
We have house guests in a week, which is why I'm trying to bust my hump to get this done. That and, if I don't get it done, I'll get complacent and leave a room full of boxes for the next year. Because I'm lazy like that.
But for now, here are some fun pictures of the munchkin and some Wii playing in St. Louis.
the most ground while kicking my butt in tennis.
Yeah, I pretty much stink at this thing!
So, do you still love me? Will you still read my blog when I get out of this unpacking funk? I'll give something away then, will that help?

The wait is almost over.
Here is why I haven't been blogging much.If that doesn't make any sense to you, run your mouse over your internet icon on your toolbar. See the difference?
Yeah, exactly.
So much has happened in the last few weeks, I wish I had time to blog about it all. My first nephew (Calvin) was born two weeks ago. He's just perfect and gorgeous and I cried when I met him. I don't have a picture of him, though. I was too busy holding him and smelling him to take any photos!!! Whoops!
I got to hang out with almost ALL of my family members at Thanksgiving. First, JD's immediate family and then my Dad's side had a family reunion. It was so much fun getting to see everyone. It's been FOREVER.
We found out that Storm and Katie are going to be having a boy.
My BFF, Kelly, is pregnant with baby number 2.
Alyssa and Andy are having another girl!
Hmm....what else?
Lorelai has done a lot of this with her Grandpa. She calls these "Po-Cakes." I guess that's cupcakes for the poor.
And she isn't really fond of being in a coat. She must loathe layering as much as her mama!!
When I got to high-speed internet finally yesterday, I checked my google reader. 658 blog entries! 658 BLOG ENTRIES! Are you kidding me!? You guys have been BUSY while I wasn't online. The bad part about that many posts is, I didn't have time to read them all. So, I visited as many as I could and then had to just mark the rest as "read" and then moved on. Otherwise, I wouldn't have ever gone to bed. I'd still be reading.
So, if you have any blog entries that you think I should read, let me know. This is my formal apology for not being able to keep up.
Oh yeah, and I'm SUPER sorry that I haven't responded to everyones' comments. There are so many, I just can't keep up. So, please know that I appreciate each of you and your prayers and support. I just love y'all!!!
This is Lorelai's cute face. She says she's sorry too. So, I'm at the in-laws' house until Wednesday and then will be at my Dad's until we leave this weekend to meet up with JD in Tennessee. We will FINALLY be to our house in Virginia by the 16th.
I'll make sure to take a lot of pictures of the new house. We're super stoked that we will finally be there. And we have the greatest landlords, so that'll make it even better! (In case you were wondering, she reads the blog....so yeah, I'm totally sucking up. And no, I don't know her, other than meeting her when seeing her house.)
All right, time to run.
Oh yeah, here is a little note from Lorelai. And if you don't believe me, hopefully I'll soon have a video of her singing that.
Daddy, where are you? I miss you, I wanna kiss you!

In the meantime....
I'm in St. Louis now with limited access to internet, which is why I'm just uploading pictures right now. Hope you enjoy these.....I'll be back when I have more time online. (by the way....sorry that I haven't been to everyones' blogs, either!)
Wow, Grandpa! What is that stuff falling from the sky!?
Lorelai's first snowball.
Catching the flakes on her tongue.
Time to go in, Grandpa, it's COLD!
