Warm it up, Chris...I'm about to.

Anyone remember that song?

Yeah, me neither. It's from so long ago, probably from when I was a wee baby.

We are without heat. Well, not entirely. Our main floor is without heat. Without giving you a boring technical explanation about what's going on, it's broken. The first two days were a tad bit chilly in the house - about 50 degrees. That doesn't sound bad, but for a two-year-old, it's a little much.

Upstairs, where Lorelai's room and the office is, is still heated with the other system, which is the only reason we're not at a hotel right now. We have a wood-burning stove, but it only heats the front room, not the other five rooms on the first floor. So, needless to say, we're spending a lot of time out of the house and under covers.  It does make me think about and pray for those who are homeless and don't even have four walls and a roof, let alone heat and clothing for their babies.

I know, this is quite possibly the most boring post I've made in a while, but I'm feeling like a boa constrictor is around my neck a little bit of pressure to blog, even if it is sub-par.

As usual, I'll slip in a picture of my daughter to make up for it.  My Dad got a great shot of Lorelai while she was shaking her head from side to side.

Burrr! 50 is TERRIBLE for a house! I grew up in a house with wood heat as our primary heat but it only warmed up a few rooms. I feel your pain. I am so thankful that Chad lets me keep my thermostat set at 70 all winter long. When I go to friends houses I freeze, cuz they keep their houses at 68. I am a BIG baby! I hope your heat is fixed soon!

Girl, as if having to move from San Antonio to Virginia in the middle of winter wasn't already enough! I would be the complaingest chica you ever saw. I already feel like I've been cold since December and our heat works!

Hey, look on the bright side. If you don't blow the budget buying fire starter for the wood stove, you'll at least have a cheap gas bill this month!!! :)

LOVE the cheeks!!!
