First Craving

Okay, I don't know if this is what a craving is like, but I think I just had one. My mouth told my brain that I wanted to eat mayonnaise. Mayonnaise?? GROSS! All I know is I was sitting here going "hmmm...mayo sounds like something I could eat right now."

Then I'm like "gross! mayo? who craves mayo?" But, it's not going away yet. Maybe I'm just really hungry and that's the last thing I thought about when I was eating at lunch - I put too much mayo on my sandwich.

Very strange. But, I definitely wanted to share that with all of you. I sure hope I start craving something, because thus far I've only had aversions. I would like to crave fruit instead of chocolate or sugar or something. So, God...if you're reading....can I ask that as a favor, please?

Thanks!

Funny, Rachel, I couldn't even look at mayonaisse and you are craving it. Now, I can eat it again, but in my 1st and 2nd trimester the thought of it made me wanna... you know what LOL

Hey Rachel -- if you're going to crave mayo at least crave Miracle Whip - lol - unless you're one of those die hard Hellmann's devotees. You are too funny.

Love Ya~ Julie Z.

ha ha - I'm not DEVOTED to Hellmann's, but I'm definitely NOT a fan of Miracle Whip - yucky!

And I don't really understand the title of this entry - First Craving. Everytime I'm with you you're saying things like, "Baby wants tacos" or "Baby wants ice cream" or "Baby wants crack."

I just felt like I was on a roll, so I didn't want to stop.

Well, I really use the baby as an excuse to get the food I want and somehow to help me not to feel badly for wanting something bad. Those aren't cravings, though.

No, I'd do (and I do) the same thing. Sometimes I'll be driving past Taco Bell and I'll tell myself, "Baby wants 2 bean burritos and a nacho supreme."

Baby really likes that meal.
